Recurring cleaning

How often should you schedule recurring cleaning?

The most common question about recurring cleaning is also the simplest: how often? There's no single right answer, but there is a right answer for your household.

Weekly

Best for busy families, homes with young children or pets, and anyone who wants the home to stay guest-ready at all times. Weekly visits keep on top of kitchens and bathrooms before buildup starts, so each visit is faster and the home never really gets 'dirty'.

Bi-weekly

The most popular choice. Every two weeks suits most households — the home stays consistently fresh, and you handle only light tidying in between. If you cook most nights and have average foot traffic, bi-weekly is usually the sweet spot.

Monthly

Works well for smaller households, frequent travelers, or people who enjoy cleaning but want a professional reset once a month. Pair it with your own weekly wipe-downs of the kitchen and bathrooms.

A simple rule of thumb

  • Kids or pets at home? Lean weekly.
  • Two adults, moderate schedule? Bi-weekly.
  • Minimal foot traffic or frequent travel? Monthly.
  • Not sure? Start bi-weekly and adjust after a month — the right rhythm becomes obvious quickly.
